There will be lane restrictions on Interstate 81 southbound from Exit 180 (Moosic) to Exit 165 (Mountain Top/Wilkes-Barre) in Luzerne County for shoulder cutting and pothole patching. Work will take place Monday, May 20, 2024, through Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Motorists should expect delays and are advised to take alternate routes when possible.

PennDOT will be performing milling and paving work on Route 1017 (Delaware Drive) between Mill Rift Road and Avenue C beginning Monday, May 20, 2024, through the second week of June 2024. Delaware Drive will be closed between 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Emergency personnel and school buses will be granted access while work is being done. Motorists are encouraged to take an alternate route to avoid major delays in the Mill Rift Area.

The in-person public meeting will be held at the First United Methodist Church at 69 Pratt Street, New Milford, PA 18834 on May 22, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites the public to the Jackson Township Supervisors Meeting where plans will be presented regarding the Route 492, Section D50, Culvert Replacement Project in Jackson Township, Susquehanna County. The plans will remain on display for public viewing at the Jackson Township Building.
